About Me
Throughout my K-12 schooling, Mathematics was my favorite subject; therefore when it was time for undergraduate studies, I majored in Mathematics. A year after graduation I started my master’s in Data Science. I can safely assume that for the past twenty years, I've been solving mathematical problems.

My first undergraduate job was in marketing, and while marketing and math appear to be distinct, at the core, they are the same; solving problems based on numbers and assumptions.

After marketing, I moved to a hybrid role where I was half marketer and half tech professional; developing and creating products. This enabled me to shift toward data smoothly.

Now I work in Data Analysis and Business Intelligence. I help business executives in making well-informed decisions.

Technologies I've worked with
I believe that technology is here to make our lives better and to make our work easier, therefore, I like to explore different technologies and how they can work together to make my workflow better. This list contains some of the technologies I'm familiar with, some of which I use almost daily and some I use less often.

Beyond Work
Now that you know what I do professionally, I think it's about time that you get to know me as a person.

First thing first, let me start by introducing myself as the Spokes Person of "The Egyptian Felin Society" also known as Cats of Egypt. I'm the founder of Cats of Egypt a social media project that resembles Humans of New York but instead of Humans, it features cats. As I said earlier I solve problems and one of the problems I had was trying to make writing a daily habit, I knew I needed three things to make this happen; a Cue, a Routine, and a Reward. So my solution was Cats of Egypt; it was almost inevitable to come across a cat since I live in Egypt so I decided that cats will be my cue and every time I see a cat I'll photograph it and write a story and for the reward, I decided to post it on Facebook and it worked like magic. I was able to not only write every day but also to build a community of +110K followers and a community group of +25K Members. more about this story can be found here

Besides Cats of Egypt, I'm a super active person; I work out regularly and I like going hiking and joining wild trips. My favorite trip is stargazing trips in the desert.

Reading is a big part of my life, and although I don't read as much as I would love to, I try to read at least one page every day. My favorite genre is Behavioral Economics, but I never say no to a good book, so I read in any genre.
Some of my favorite books are:
-
"How Not to Be Wrong: The Power of Mathematical Thinking" by Jordan Ellenberg
-
"Contagious: Why Things Catch On" by Jonah Berger
-
"The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene
-
"Delivering Happiness" by Tony Hsieh
-
"Creativity, Inc.: Overcoming the Unseen Forces That Stand in the Way of True Inspiration" by Amy Wallace and Edwin Catmull
-
"The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield
-
"Cairo Trilogy" by Naguib Mahfouz
-
"One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez
-
"Different: Escaping the Competitive Herd" by Youngme Moon
-
"Everybody Writes" by Ann Handly

What else should I mention?
I think that's enough about me. I'd like to get to know you, I'm always down to know new people, and I'm a click of a button away.
